- Autograph of famed theatre actress Laura Keene on the front of an 1866 copy of the one act play My Turn Next
- Keene is best known as the lead actress on stage on April 14, 1865 at the Ford Theatre when US President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated
- Amid the confusion after Lincoln was shot, Keene went to the presidential box where Lincoln was and cradled his head while he was dying
- The autograph itself is in excellent condition considering its age with little to no bleeding or fading; very clear, detailed and presentable
- The play script is in fair condition; the pages are separated and loose with some understandable aging wear throughout. The front page has some writing on it under the autograph, explaining the autograph in pencil
- Very interesting and extremely rare piece of American history
- Size: 7.75" x 4.5"
