- Hooper led the Canadian Amateur Hockey League with 17 goals in eight games
- Named team Captain prior to the 1904 season
- Montreal challenged the Winnipeg Victorias for the Stanley Cup after the 1902 season, and won, then defeated Winnipeg in a rematch the following year
- Hooper is perhaps best known for being likely the first ice-hockey player to die from on-ice injuries, as a result of being hit in the head by a puck in 1904 at just 23 years old
- Great condition; invitation has some marking, little to no creasing, no rips or tears. Photo has no visible creasing, small rip at the very top, otherwise no tears or rips.
