- The Royals would eventually go on to advance to AAA, serving as the Minor League affiliate for the Philadelphia Athletics, Pittsburgh Pirates, and both Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers
- Royals were famously the last club Jackie Robinson played for before being called up by the Dodgers
- The Royals existed from 1897 to 1917, and again from 1928 to 1960, before moving to Syracuse to become the Chiefs
- Good condition; back shows damage from being removed from scrapbook. Front is very presentable with a relatively clean entry rip and some light surface creasing
