- 2 Telegrams + 1 notarized document dealing with dealing with the services of future Hall of Famer Sprague Cleghorn for the 1921-22 hockey season. In a very early instance of tampering NHL's Ottawa Senators contend the WHL Edmonton Eskimos illegally negotiating for Cleghorn's services
- Measurements: Telegrams are 8” x 6.25”. Document is 8.5” x 11”
- Very good condition; telegrams show some notable edgewear including a few small rips and tears as well as some paper loss along the top edge of the one dated September 20, 1921. Document shows visible staining near the bottom as well as some residual rust staining around the staple and on the opposite edge (from being folded). Little to no creasing aside from original folds, no rips or tears.
