- The Bowman Gum Company was a Philadelphia-based manufacturer of gum and baseball cards. Their baseball card lines became very collectible in the 1940s. The Company was acquired by Topps in 1956 and discontinued
- Stallcup played 7 MLB seasons between 1947-1953 for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs
- In 587 games played Stallcup hit 22 homeruns with 214 RBI's and a compiled a .241 batting average
- Stallcup took his own life in Greenville, South Carolina at the age of 67
- SGC graded/slabbed 84 NM 7
