- Etched on ball: MLB Logo, "Thanks, Peter Ueberroth" and Tiffany and Co. logo
- Ueberroth, as MLB commissioner, issued the ball to MLB and member team executives in the mid 1980's
- After serving as chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee which brought the games to LA in 1954, he was named as the 6th Commissioner of Baseball and held this role from 1984-1989
- Tiffany and Co. was founded in 1837 by jeweler Charles Lewis. They are headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan

- Excellent condition; very slight scuffs on ball, some corner and edge wear on box, small piece of tape on top cover of box
