- Connie Mack and Joe McCarthy are displayed on the cover
- This game took place at Shibe Park in Philadelphia. This was also the first World Series ever played at Wrigley Field in Chicago
- Roger Hornsby featured in the Cubs lineup and Jimmie Fox played for the Athletics
- The Chicago Cubs went on to win game three 3-1 and trailed in the series 2-1
- However the Athletics would win games 4 and 5 to ultimately win the 1929 World Series. This was their first championship in 16 years

- Excellent condition. Some light creasing. Minor small tears along cover edges. Minimal handling wear. Middle score page has separated and been neatly scored with pencil. Rest of the program is intact and in very good condition. Extremely presentable
