    • May 9, 1954 Toronto Maple Leafs vs Montreal Royals International League doubleheader program with Roberto Clemente in the lineup for the Royals as a prospect of the Brooklyn Dodgers
    • Scored in pencil, this program scores both games of a double header (as neatly as one can score a double header on one scorecard). The first game featured future New York Yankees great and 1954 International League MVP Elston Howard batting fifth for the home team Toronto and hitting a homerun in the first inning off Royals starting pitcher Hamp Coleman .Toronto would win 12-9
    • Roberto Clemente entered the second game of the double header in the 6th inning for left fielder Jack Cassini for the Royals and bat third. The game was abruptly suspended as a 0-0 game in the 7th inning after only one Clemente AB, and resumed on July 30, on which Clemente hit a double in the top of the 9th inning (his fourth of the year) and came around to score the go-ahead run in a 2-0 Royals victory. Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda is also in the lineup for the Montreal Royals, but did not pitch either game
    • Clemente would be selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates first overall in the Rule 5 draft for the upcoming season and begin his Major League career with them, rather than the Dodgers. He would go on to win 2 World Series Championships, and claim the 1966 NL MVP before his death on December 31, 1972.
    • Program is in good condition; notable material loss along the spine and along the top edge of the back cover as well as in the top left corner of the front cover. General edgewear is visible on both covers otherwise, including a small tear along the top of the front cover. Interior pages are clean throughout, with some light edgewear including some creasing and some residual tearing visible on the inside of the spine. Middle pages (the lineups and score sheets) are loose from staples but still present, though some splitting at the fold at the top and bottom is visible. Scored neatly in pencil (as neatly as possible for both games of a double header and a suspended game). The final back pages (37-44) show some notable wear along the top and right edges, including some chipping along the top edges, and notable material loss along the top edge of 39/40. Small moisture discolouration is visible on pages 41/42 along with some material loss in the top right corner.
