- Phil Niekro was 46 years old at the time of this victory. In addition to this victory being his 300th, Niekro also became the oldest pitcher to throw a shut out in MLB history (Jamie Moyer broke this record in May 2010)
- Near excellent condition; minor crease across “10.50$”. Minor wear near top of blue jay nose at bottom left, little to no notable rips or tears. Very minor edgewear
