Canada did not eventually qualify for the tournament, which was eventually won by the US as they went 9-0 to capture their 6th title. Presented in its original case
- Plaque translates to:
Government of Rioja - ECJ and Sports Advisor to the Canadian National Team - Third International Tournament for Senior Women’s Basketball Teams - Rioja, May 1998 - 9.5” x 12.5” and approximately 1.25” in depth
- Excellent condition; one very small ding along the left edge of the inner plaque. Otherwise, little to no visible handling wear. Box shows a small rip on the edge.
