- Nembhard has represented Canada in FIBA competition at the U-16, U-17, and U-18 levels. In 2019 he made the senior national team for the 2019 FIBA World Cup and was later named to Canada's roster for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France
- He played college basketball for both the Florida Gators and the Gonzaga Bulldogs and was selected by the Pacers with the 31st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Entry Draft
