- Louisville beats Duke and makes history as the first team outside of a power conference to capture the championship since the expansion to 64 teams
- Both stubs are in very good condition; March 29th stub has a notable folding crease through the ticket as well as a pinhole at the top in the centre. March 31st stub has three separate pinholes and some creasing. Both tickets show visible edgewear and relatively clean entry rips with little residual wear along the perforated edge.
