- Aside from Irvin, autographs include Maroons Hall of Fame Coach Tommie Gorman and Hall of Fame Goaltender Alec Connell, and Maroons players Jimmy Ward, Bob Gracie, Gus Marker, Paul Runge, Baldy Northcott, Russ Blinco, and Cy Wentworth
- Irvin was a star player in the 1920s, largely in western leagues, before a three year stint with the Chicago Black Hawks
- Won 1932 Stanley Cup with the Maple Leafs, and three more in his storied career coaching the Montreal Canadiens
- 691 career coaching wins, which ranks him tenth today, and first when he last coached
- Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a player in 1958, and died in 1957 at the age of 64
- Connell played 75 games for the Maroons winning 34 and putting up a 1.99 Goals Against Average with 11 shutouts
- In his fuller career, Connell played 418 NHL games across 12 seasons, recording 193 wins and 81 shutouts with a 1.92 Goals Against Average
- Connell both died and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1958 at the age of 58
- Gorman was a successful lacrosse player and Olympic Gold Medalist for Canada before becoming an NHL coach and General Manager
- Won two Stanley Cups as coach, including in 1935 with the Maroons, and as General Manager won seven total Stanley Cups in charge of four teams
- Died in 1961 at the age of 74, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame that year
- Autographs are in excellent shape with no smudging or bleeding. Page is in great condition with some light surface creasing but was removed carefully from the original album book with no rips or tears. Some very light water staining at the bottom edge

- The signatures in this listing came from an autograph book owned by Donald Deas. He took this book to many NHL games and secured numerous signatures of NHL players. Most of the autographs in the book were secured during the 1936/1937 NHL season with a few others collected into the early 1940s. The ability to collect the signatures was facilitated by a friendship Mr. Deas had with Maple Leaf Gardens official scorer Bill Graham Jr. The autograph book had been stored away by the family over the last 80 years.
