- Oct. 13, 1947 at Maple Leaf Gardens - original photo of face-off, mounted on board which hung on the Gardens wall from the 1940s until its 1999 closing
- Image shows ceremonial face-off between the Leafs' Syl Apps and Bruins All-Star Milt Schmidt. Puck was dropped by Ontario Premier George Drew, who is accompanied by NHL president Clarence Campbell and Toronto mayor Robert Hood
- All-Stars defeat the Leafs 4-3
- 20" x 30"
- Very good condition; some corner and edge wear. Some small paper material loss in top right corner and on right edge. Some light scratches, nicks and scuffs. A small hole is notable in the upper centre. Two lines of faint dark residue run horizontally near the bottom of the image. Mounting board remains in good condition with some notable wear due to age. There is possible water damage visible as well as some red ink writing on the reverse, but the image is unaffected
