- Peter Sellers was an English actor and comedian. He first came to prominence performing in the BBC Radio comedy series The Goon Show, featured on a number of hit comic songs and became known to a worldwide audience through his many film roles, among them Chief Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther series
- The plot of "The Party": While trying to tie his shoe, bumbling extra Hrundi V. Bakshi (Peter Sellers) unwittingly triggers explosives that destroy the set of an epic war film. The furious director tells executive Fred Clutterbuck (J. Edward McKinley) to fire him. Because of a misunderstanding, Bakshi instead mistakenly receives an invitation to an exclusive party at Clutterbuck's Hollywood mansion, where he proceeds to wreak havoc on partygoers as he stumbles through what will become the wildest night he's ever seen
- "The Party" was directed by Blake Edwards
- Contract is signed by Peter Sellers and the witness signature appears to be the Associate Movie Producer Ken Wales, and one other representing the production company
- Excellent condition; some amendments and notes written on the contract, otherwise little to no notable handling wear aside from some corner creasing and staple holes. Autograph presents well with no visible smudging, bleeding or fading
