- Excellent game used condition; a few faint spots of discoloration. Some notable dirt and scuff marks on the back shoulders
- Whitt played 121 games in Syracuse in 1978, with whom he stayed in 1979 before beginning his full-time MLB career in 1980 with the Blue Jays. He would be the primary catcher for the Blue Jays for the remainder of the 1980s.
- When he was traded after the 1989 season, he was the last remaining player from the expansion 1977 team to play for the Blue Jays
- While he's best known for his tenure with the Blue Jays, Whitt also enjoyed stints with the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles
