- The realistically sized sterling silver baseball has the Hall of Fame logo, with "Hall of Fame" imprinted on it. Imprinted on the baseball is "1-50", showing that the baseball was Number 1 out of 50
- Joe Morgan was a second baseman with Houston, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Oakland. He was a 2-time MVP, a 2-time World Series Champion, a 10-time Gold Glove winner, a 10-time All-Star, and he had 268 homeruns and 689 stolen bases
- Jim Palmer pitched in 19 Major League seasons, all with the Baltimore Orioles. He was a 3-time Cy Young Award winner, a 3-time World Series Champion, an 8-time All-Star, a 4-time Gold Glove winner, a 3-time AL wins leader, a 2-time AL ERA leader, and also threw a no-hitter on August 13, 1969
