- He held the Ring Magazine heavyweight title from 1964-1970. He was the undisputed champion from 1974-1978 and was the WBA and Ring champion from 1978-79
- Ali finished his boxing career with a record of 56 wins and 7 losses with 37 wins coming by way of knockout
- In 1984 he made public his diagnosis of Parkinson's disease but remained an active public figure globally
- Ali passed away on June 3rd, 2016 at the age of 74
