- Only 1000 copies of the special leather-bound editions of the first and second volumes were produced and presented to to important hockey figures, while the third was limited to 1,500 copies.
- We have a three volume matched set of the original black leather-bound editions, with each originally presented to hockey writer, broadcaster and CKFH Sports Director Joe Morgan.
- Each volume has matching edition numbers "529".
- Volume 1 has a presentation book plate with Joe Morgan's name signed by NHL President Clarence Campbell.
- Volume 3 issued in 1977 to coincide with the NHL's 60th anniversary includes a Clarence Campbell facsimile signed presentation card along along with a leather bookmark, celebrating the leagues 60th anniversary.
- All three volumes are in amazing near mint condition.
- All three volumes are accompanied by their original attractive black slip cases with gilded images of the Stanley Cup which remain in amazing condition.
- Books are 6 x 9 x 2.5”
- Excellent condition; all books are accompanied by their original slip cases, and show little to no notable signs of handling wear. In our 50 years of collecting this is the nicest condition “Trail of the Stanley Cup” set we have ever handled
