- Hank Aaron played for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers, was a 25-time All-Star, 3-time Gold Glove winner, 1957 NL MVP, and MLB's all-time home run leader with 755 career homers. He was inducted into the Cooperstown Hall of Fame in 1982.
- Willie McCovey played for the San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres, and Oakland Athletics, was a 6-time All-Star, 1969 NL MVP, and 2-time World Series champion. He was inducted into the Cooperstown Hall of Fame in 1986.
- Jim Wynn played for the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves, was a 3-time All-Star and known for his power and speed in the outfield during the 1970s
- Ron Santo played his entire career with the Chicago Cubs, was a 9-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glove winner, and one of the premier third basemen of his era. He was posthumously inducted into the Cooperstown Hall of Fame in 2012.
