- George Foster was a power-hitting MLB outfielder best known for the Cincinnati Reds, also playing for the New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, and Chicago White Sox. A key member of the “Big Red Machine,” he was a five-time All-Star, 1977 NL MVP, two-time World Series champion (1975, 1976), and led the NL in home runs twice during his career.
