- Giuseppe Antonio Berardinelli was an American professional boxer who went by the ring name Joey Maxim from the Maxim gun, the first self acting machine gun, based on his ability to throw a large number of left jabs rapidly. Maxim was the World Light Heavyweight Champion from 1950 to 1952.
