Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse Ventura were on commentary. WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan pinned Terry Funk (w/ Jimmy Hart) at 8:42 after hitting him with Hart's cowboy boot after Hart failed to hit the champion with the weapon; after the match, Funk attacked Hogan with the boot and tried to brand him with the branding iron but Hogan moved out of the way; moments later, Hogan grabbed a chair from the floor, with Funk then leaving ringside. WWF Tag Team Champions Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake fought Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid to a curfew draw at 13:34
