- Zouave were originally a class of French light infrantry soldiers serving largely in French North Africa. During the American Civil War, the Union had dozens of units named for and dress similarly to the Zouave
- Great condition; light creasing in two corners, graded 9/10 overall by RMY Auctions (4.5/5 for quality, 4.5/5 for condition)
