  • Certificate of authenticity from RMY Auctions, with serial # 45655, lot number 1230, from auction on January 26th, 2020
  • One of the most famous images of the entire war, this is a WWI era re-strike from Underwood and Underwood in great shape (circa 1919)
  • Zouave were originally a class of French light infrantry soldiers serving largely in French North Africa. During the American Civil War, the Union had dozens of units named for and dress similarly to the Zouave
  • Great condition; light creasing in two corners, graded 9/10 overall by RMY Auctions (4.5/5 for quality, 4.5/5 for condition)
