- September 14th, 1923 World Heavyweight Championship fight program for a bout between champion Jack Dempsey and the first ever Latin American challenger Luis Firpo
- The fight took place at the Polo Grounds in New York City
- Dempsey floored Firpo seven times in the first round before Firpo rallied and landed a flurry of punches that sent Dempsey out of the ring. Dempsey was helped into the ring at the count of 9 (he actually spent 17 seconds out of the ring but fighters are given a count of 20 when knocked through the ropes). Firpo then bombarded Dempsey with 13 more punches
- In the second round Dempsey himself rallied and went on to knock out the challenger to retain his title
- The fight was named Ring Magazine 'Fight of the Year' in 1923

- Very good condition. Extremely presentable for its age. Complete and intact. Some light writing in pencil on interior pages. General handling wear due to age
