- Stamped on back with the date August 7, 1926
- Dempsey was paid $300 000 for the fight the next month, in which he was upset and lost his World Heavyweight Title to former U.S. Marine Gene Tunney
- Dempsey had held the World Heavyweight Title since 1919
- Very good condition; some tears and paper loss in the two left corners as well as along the bottom edge. Content of photo is undamaged and presents well overall with some minor surface creasing
- Size: 8" x 10"
