- 1928 very rare Type 1 Photo of Detroit Cougars newly hired head coach Jack Adams
- Unusual, interesting note about this photo is that he is wearing a sweater with a 1926-27 World Champs patch that he won the previous year as a player with the Ottawa Senators before he was hired by the Cougars
- Jack Adams was hired as the head coach and general manager of the Cougars in their second year soon after retirement as a player, and stuck with the organization for 36 years
- Adams built a farm system that produced some of the best players of all-time, including Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Ted Lindsay, Red Kelly and Alex Delvecchio
- Great condition; mounted on heavy card stock with some handling wear around the edges. Image still presents very well
- Size: 7.5" x 9"
