George Eyston on September 16th 1938, lowered his former record for the measured mile to 357.5 miles per hour. this is the fastest ever traveled by humans on wheels. the A. A. A. under whose supervision these records are made, has charge of the conditions and timing, and an average of two miles being necessary to acquire a record mile, one in each direction. it is now understood that Capt.
