- Measurements: open approx 9.75" x 5" - closed approx 3.5" x 5"
- Great condition; notable corner creasing on the front cover, general creasing from folding, unmarked, minor discoluration and smudging on the schedule
- Imperial Oil is a Canadian petroleum company, and supplies Esso-brand service stations. From 1934 and onwards (until 1976) Imperial Oil was a sponsor for CBC and Hockey Night in Canada, leading to the creation of their schedule
- The 1943-44 NHL season was the 27th in the National Hockey League's existence. In the semi-finals of the playoffs the Chicago Blackhawks upset the Detroit Red Wings to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals along with the Montreal Canadiens. In the Final the Canadiens bested the Chicago Black Hawks 4-0 in the series to win the trophy. The season's MVP was Babe Pratt of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the leading scorer was Herb Cain of the Boston Bruins
