  • Three items - correspondence regarding Montreal's farm systems
  • October 29, 1948: a portion of transcript from a broadcast between Foster Hewitt and Dick Irvin concerning Montreal
  • November 5, 1948: a letter from Toronto Maple Leafs president Conn Smythe enclosing the aforementioned transcript, to NHL president Clarence Campbell asking him to take a close look at the Canadiens farm system situation
  • November 8, 1948: a signed letter from NHL President Clarence Campbell to Conn Smythe regarding the farm system in Montreal, saying that he will look into a solution
  • Size: first two items are 8.5" x 11", signed item is 7.25" x 11"
  • Condition: signed letter (November 8, 1948) is in excellent condition with neatly removed staples and folding creases and no further handling wear. The second letter (November 5, 1948) is in excellent condition as well, with neatly removed staples and no folding creases, no rips or tears. Final item (October 29, 1948) is in fair condition, with some damage in top left corner from staple removal, and some writing below transcript content
