- Winner of the 1968 Conn Smythe Trophy for NHL playoff MVP while with the St. Louis Blues, the first player to win the award despite not winning the Stanley Cup
- Played 906 games over 18 NHL seasons for the Red Wings, Black Hawks, and Blues
- Hall was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1975
