- Big Six guitar in original coffin shaped box. Original decals, plastic "Beatles Big 6" below decal and 4 facsimile signatures.
- All of the original components included: the coffin-shaped box, orange guitar and maker's sticker (Note that the value of this piece would drop dramatically without the sticker)
- Selcol was one of the early plastic scale modelling companies. They made a toy Elvis Presley guitar in the late 1950s and a variety of toy Beatles guitars in the 1960s.
- The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960
- Members of band include John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr
- Queen Elizabeth II appointed Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr Members of the Order of the British Empire in 1965
- The Beatles won the Academy Award for Best Original Song Score for the film Let It Be in 1971
- 32” long
- Excellent condition; guitar has little to no visible surface wear, with original decal & facsimile signatures still intact, as well as original string strap and maker's sticker. Decal on box has some paper loss and is partially covered by tape, but is otherwise in good condition
