- Brooks Robinson was a legendary Baltimore Orioles third baseman and one of the greatest defensive players in MLB history. A two-time World Series champion (1966, 1970), 1964 AL MVP, 18-time All-Star, and 16-time Gold Glove winner, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983 and is widely regarded as the finest defensive third baseman ever.
