- The Summit Series was an 8-game series contested between the Soviet Union and Team Canada. It was the first competition held between the Soviets and the Canadians that featured NHL players
- Canada won the series in 8 games after Paul Henderson's notorious gaming winning goal with 34 seconds left in the third period of the deciding game

- Very good condition; program shows moderate corner and edge wear. Some slight creasing throughout. Minor discolouration on top right. Very small tear on right edge of front cover. Presents very well for its age. Line-up card shows minimal corner and edge wear. Very slight creasing in top left.
