- Gaylord Perry was a Hall of Fame MLB pitcher best known for the San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians, also pitching for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, and Atlanta Braves. A rare two-time Cy Young Award winner in both leagues (1972 AL, 1978 NL), he won 314 career games, threw a no-hitter in 1968, was a five-time All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.
