- For the first time, Canada was allowed to use NHL players that were not otherwise tied up with their team in the playoffs
- USSR wins gold in the tournament with the hometown Czechs winning silver and Canada winning bronze
- Box is 4.25" x 4.25" x 1" and medal is approximately 3" x 3"
- Medal is in excellent condition; little to no handling wear and presents extremely well. Presentation box is in very good shape with a few small stains on the top and light handling wear throughout
