- Super Bowl XIII was a championship football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. The game (played on January 21, 1979) saw the Steelers win their third Super Bowl by winning the game 35-31. Pittsburgh quarterback Terry Bradshaw was named Super Bowl MVP for completing 17 of 30 passes and 4 touchdowns. Dallas were behind by 4 heading into the 4th quarter, but the Steelers scored 2 touchdowns in the span of 19 seconds to seal the game
