- Original artwork of Boston Bruins legend and HOFer Milt Schmidt, painted by famous Canadian sports artist Carleton McDiarmid, with accompanying postcard
- In 1983, The Hockey Hall Of Fame commissioned Carleton “Mac” McDiarmid to paint water colour portraits of the Hall’s members. The paintings were used by the Hall to create a 240 postcard set in 1983 featuring inducted members, with the cards being noteworthy due to the inclusion of a number of the game’s earliest stars.
- Painting was acquired from the personal collection of McDiarmid, a notable hockey collector who often had corresponding players sign his original artwork.
- Excellent condition; little to no creasing, no rips or tears on the backing or matting. Player name is written in marker along the top edge of the backing. Painting itself shows a few light lines of discolouration on the image
- Painting measurements: 16” x 21”
