- Craig Reynolds is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) shortstop who was an inaugural member of the Seattle Mariners. He began his professional career in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and played for over a decade with the Houston Astros. Reynolds batted left-handed and threw right. He was a member of the 1979 All Star Game, and as a result, became the only shortstop in MLB history to be selected to the AL and NL squads in consecutive seasons
