With an attendance of 34,029, the Blue Jays overcame an early deficit of 3 runs to none, but trailed 5-4 entering the bottom of the tenth inning. Ultimately, a two-out single by Al Oliver proved to be the winning hit for the Blue Jays
- Game 6: on October 15, 1985, in game 6 of the ALCS, the Toronto Blue Jays lost to the Kansas City Royals 5-3, failing to clinch the series. Despite the game being tied early on, the Kansas City Royals took a 5-2 run lead and were able to hang on for a final score of 5-3
