- The Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) hosted the event at the North York Centennial Arena with 7 teams participated: Canada, USA, Ontario, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, and Holland.
- Team Canada defeated Team Ontario 4-0 in the championship game to take the gold
- Medal 2.25" x 2.25”
- Ribbon approx. 17” long
- Excellent condition; from of medal has some oxidization otherwise minimal signs of visible handling use
