- David "Boomer" Wells is best known for the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees, also pitching for the Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. A two-time World Series champion (1992 Blue Jays, 1998 Yankees), he threw a perfect game on May 17, 1998, was a three-time All-Star, and finished with 239 career wins.
