- Joseph Jean Beliveau was a Canadian hockey player who played with the NHL's Montreal Canadians from 1950 - 1971, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972. While first playing professionally in the Quebec Major Hockey League, he made his debut in the NHL in 1950. Within his second season in the league he was a top 3 goal scorer, and built on this success throughout the years, winning two Hart Memorial Trophies as league MVP, the inaugural Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, and has the most Stanley Cups (17) of any individual, which he won as both a player and executive
