- On March 11 1996 the final game at the Forum was played between the Canadians and the Dallas Stars. Montreal would go on to win the game 4-1
- The Canadians won an incredible 22 Stanley Cups during their time playing at the Forum
- Their new home originally known as the Molson Center officially opened on March 16th 1996. It was later renamed to the Bell Center where the Canadians play to this day
