On the ticket it reads "African-American barnstorming teams such as the Chatham All-Stars from Ontario, featuring Flat Chase, toured the country by bus, appearing in a new town each day and playing against the local team."
- Huckaby entered the game late as a defensive replacement after Tom Wilson pinch hit for catcher Darrin Fletcher. The Jays would beat the Red Sox 4-1.
