- Joe Louis t-shirt segment cut from back of t-shirt, worn by the Heavyweight while training for 1942 title defense against Buddy Baer, Louis trainer, Manny Seamon , gave the t-shirt to Dr. Walter Jacobs, a New York City Dentist noted for making plaster life-casts from the fists of famous boxers. Dr Jacobs then used this t-shirt to make this unique treasure
- Binder is in fair condition; pages have been removed with some residual ripping. Shirt shows significant glue damage throughout
