- The American Caramel Company was founded in 1898, which was aided by the Lancaster Caramel Company. The company eventually grew to control 90% of the caramel in the United States, and began including baseball cards with their products, leading to the creation of this unique album
- Excellent condition: some slight scuffing on the cover, small tear along the bottom of the spine, some corner and edgewear, but a well-preserved piece for its age
