- Type 1 photo shows NHL president Clarence Campbell being attached by fans in the stands at March 17, 1955 game at Montreal Forum. The game was stopped and forfeited by the Montreal Canadiens to the Detroit Red Wings.. 4 days earlier Richard hit a linesman during a game and Campbell suspended Richard for the remainder of the season. Also includes 2 original Associated Press Wire photo (stamped by A.P. on reverse) - The 2 photos show the Richard riot spilling on to the streets of Montreal after the game was forfeited
- Type 1 photo is 9" x 7”, press photos are 8" x 10”
- Very good condition; small tear in wire photo, otherwise all are in good condition
