- Paul Henderson is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who spent 13 seasons in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, and the Atlanta Flames, and made 2 all-star games throughout his career. Although, he is best known for his game-winning goal in the 1972 summit series against the Soviet Union, where Canada had to score to win the final game, or they would lose by goal differential. Henderson flipped in a rebound and scored, a moment that was awarded "Sports Moment of the Century" by the Canadian press. He was also inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame twice
