An amateur tape recording of one of the performances (or parts of several performances) during their December engagement was remixed and released in 1977 as "Live! at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany"
- Best was the drummer for the Beatles from 1960-1962 and is sometimes referred to as "the fifth Beatle"
- He was dismissed from the band shortly before they achieved worldwide fame
- Ringo Starr replaced Best in 1962 when the groups manager, Brian Epstein, fired Best at the request of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison following the bands first recording session
